Research & production company «ERGA» has designed and successfully implemented magnetic pneumatic transport separators (SMK series).

Application

SMK separators are used in technological lines with significant flow rates for effective removal of magnetic metals from dry granulated raw materials and final products.

Installation

This model is used for separation applications, where product moves by gravity or under small pressure, in vertical circular or rectangular pipes.

Principle of operation

Main construction element of the separator is a magnetic grate assembly, secured on a removable flange. Double-layer grate assembly allows complete coverage of separator's flow section, making passage of ferromagnetic particles through the separator virtually impossible. Tramp metals are attracted to the surface of magnetic rods and are held there securely by a powerful magnetic field. To ensure safe operation of the separator at a certain flow rate, separator's casing has an enlarged perimeter. Grates slide in and out of separator's casing on special skids. Main advantage of this construction - easy mechanical cleaning system (with removable magnetic rods), for which no scrapers or brushes are needed.

Summary

SMK magnetic separators are popular in glass, grain, pulp-and-paper, chemical industries, etc. This model is used for separation of grain, glass charge, paper pulp and other free-flowing products.

Technical characteristics:

  1. Separated product fraction - 0,01 - 20 mm;
  2. Separated material humidity - up to 5%;
  3. Output - up to 200 t/hour;
  4. Magnetic system material - Nd-Fe-B, (BH) max > 300 kJ/m3;
  5. Magnetic induction on the surface of the system, at t=20(°С), - 150 - 700 (mTsl);
  6. Maximum operation temperature - +80°С (+120°С);
  7. Installation height - 100-300 mm above the conveyor belt;
  8. Cleaning system - manual or mechanical;
  9. Stability of magnetic properties is guaranteed for 10 years.
